As I always say; "Warm up well and you will play well"...
This was definitely the case. 100% effort applied during the warm up by all and we were switched on from the start. We took hold of the game from the start and were relentless. This gave us the opportunity to try out different positions for a few players, ahead of next season's move up to 11v11, with stand-out performances given by every player on the pitch.
We were well-disciplined to ensure we did not concede, after last weekend’s heartbreak, of conceding very late in the game, to miss out sharing the points with title-contenders Costessey Rhinos.
This result leaves us in third place in the league, 6 points off top spot, but with 2 games in hand.
Next week we take on the Division's bottom side, St Andrews, at home.
