Scole United are pleased to welcome Callum Bray to the club, joining from East Harling.
Bray, 19yrs old, was part of the East Harling team who won promotion into senior football, as well as a Carrow Road appearance in the Junior Cup Final last season.
The winger has also played for Diss, and expressed at interest in joining Scole at the beginning of pre-season, and has done enough in training and in Saturday's fixture against Mendlesham to convince the management team he could have a big role to play.
Abbott said "Callum has a lot of quality and pace, but more importantly is very keen to learn and develop his game. His work rate has been outstanding so far in training and he performed well on Saturday, helping himself to two well taken goals. His challenge is to battle his way into the starting eleven and then perform to stay there as with any other player, but he has told us he is up for grafting to earn his place."
Callum and his new Scole team mates take on Thetford Rovers, before a second Scole XI take on Gorleston Development Squad this coming Saturday at Scole Playing Field.
Welcome to Callum from all at Scole, if you would like to sponsor him for the coming season please get in touch.
