Scole Vets lose first league match
Mundford take the spoils
Scole travelled to Mundford, who they had beaten at home, but the hosts had some impressive results behind them, apart from a heavy defeat at Swaffham Town. Scoel started well, but the midfield trio of the hosts started to break down Scole' possession and made it very difficult for Scole to break. Suffice to say that Scole were not at the races and found themselves behind to a well-taken free-kick. Minutes later Scole were caught on the break, and punished further with another added before the break.
After the break and with a change information, Scole dominated both possession and chances but failed to convert any. They found themselves further behind when a speculative long range effort looped over keeper Bartram, after failing to clear a corner. Earrye looked lively and put in some good crosses, but it was not Scole's day and they fell to their first league defeat of the season.
