The reserves made the short trip to east Harling hoping to avenge a home defeat earlier in the season knowing that Harling with only pride to play for would be a tough nut to crack.
Scole started slowly with Hayden Wilby playing as makeshift left back were forced on the back foot as Harling had a couple of early opportunities that they failed to make the most of. Scole eventually managed to put a couple of good passes together that ended with Max Turners shot being saved. Harling continued to push forward and another couple of half-chances went begging. Scole were given a free-kick halfway in Harlings half and a floated Alex Hogg cross was met by Harry Brookes at the far post who sidefooted home firmly past the home keeper probably against the run of the play. The goal gave Scole a boost and they at last started to win first and second balls in midfield. Scole pushed for a second but half-time came with no further score. Immediately after the break however Brookes chased a ball down the left twisted the defender on the byeline and chipped the ball to the far post where it dropped into the net with the keeper stranded to make it 2-0 for Scole. Scole were well on top for another 10 minutes but couldnt add a a third and then Jack Payne cam off injured and Scole lost some of their impetus and perhaps thought the game was won. Harling however had other thoguhts and Josh Goodwin in goal elected for a punch form a cross that ended with a goal mouth scramble and the third Harling attempt eventually going over the line . Ten minutes later and it was 2-2 as an effort from outside the box swept along the ground and in off the far post. Scole then went all out for a winner with Harry Rolingson nearly having his shirt pulled off in the penalty box that only the referee could not see and then Max Turner just heading over as the keeper came out for a cross which was Scole's last clear chance before the final whistle for a disappointing draw.
With 2 league games to go promotion is still in Scole's hands with both games against their promotion rivals though but would have taken this at the start of the season and considering the turmoil of player loss form the club this season.
