Scole suffer in Easter Saturday Heat.....

Scole United fc 1 v 4 Norwich CEYMS fc
Scole faced Norwich CEYMS in their penultimate game of the season at Ransome Avenue on a unusually hot & sunny Easter Saturday.
Looking for revenge after being outplayed in the reverse fixture in October Scole lined up in familiar fashion. The return from holiday of centre back Adam Solley
was also a bonus.
The game started slowly with both teams lacklustre in the spring sunshine. CEYMS took advantage of the holiday mood by taking an early lead on 9 minutes and it wasn't until a tactical change forced by the introduction of reserves skipper Ben Cussons
replacing the injured Tom Dade
that Scole gained a foothold in the game. A wonderful through ball from captain Ben Norton
-Hugman set Kieran Manning
free to score a good equaliser. Scole bosses the remainder of the half and started the second buoyed by the comeback.
This was tempered though when CEYMS were awarded a penalty 6 mins in and it was an uphill battle from there on in. The Bank Holiday Weekend and the temperature affected Scole as they chased the game and CEYMS scored another brace before the end to make it a flattering 1-4 scoreline.
Man of the Match: (picked by Nigel Manning) Harry Brookes
who performed well whenever he has stepped up from the reserves.
